From there, drive west 2.5 hours to Ashford Castle in County Mayo, listed in “1000 Places to See Before You Die” and Voted Top 10 Resort Properties in Europe by Travel & Leisure. The former estate of the Guinness family, Ashford Castle dates back to 1228 and is most well-known as the set for the movie The Quiet Man, filmed there in the 1950s. It’s perfectly situated to explore the West of Ireland including Galway, the Cliffs of Moher, Connemara, the Burren and the Aran Islands.

On your next stop, you’ll travel 1.5 hours south to spend 2 nights at Dromoland Castle in County Clare, the 16th century ancestral home of Gaelic royal families. A magnificent Renaissance structure, the castle was refurbished and transformed into a luxury hotel in the 1960s and retains splendid woodcarvings, oil paintings, romantic gardens and fine antique furnishings. From its setting on a 375-acre estate, guests can enjoy hunting, fishing, horseback riding and championship golf or take in the sites of the rugged West coast of Ireland, Shannon and Limerick.

From there, return to the Ritz-Carlton Powerscourt for your final night and take in the lively dining and pub scene or famous sites in Dublin, a UNESCO-designated city, or enjoy the tranquil surroundings in County Wicklow, with easy access to the Dublin airport for your return flight home.

Prices are per person based on two people traveling together (unless specified otherwise) based on 7 day advance purchase and include round trip economy class airfare including fuel surcharges, government-imposed fees and taxes including the September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per enplanement originating at a U.S. airport. Cancellations/Changes:

Fares are nonrefundable. Substantial restrictions apply for cancellation/change and depend upon the package type. Travel Trip Protection (including Pre-departure Trip Cancellation Waiver) will be offered during the booking process and if purchased you will be allowed to cancel/change your trip once for any reason up to 72 hours prior to departure and receive a refund of your payments made, less Travel Trip Protection costs and fees. Additional coverage for trip delay; medical and baggage protection; travel accident protection; and 24 hr worldwide assistance services are also included.
