With the explosion in interest in country manor house living (Downton Abbey anyone?), the imagery of the idle rich and aristocracy living carefree lives in stately country manor homes has become the fascination of many.  Now you have the opportunity to sample the life of the gentry with this magnificent package.

Upon arrival in Dublin, you'll collect your car and make the short drive west to Enfield where you will spend your first night at the Johnstown House Hotel & Spa.  After settling in you can take a stroll around the 120 acres of stunning parkland and then try one of their fine restaurants for your first meal in Ireland.  On day 2, head south, enjoying the lovely landscape as you make your way to Waterford and the Faithlegg House Hotel & Golf Club.  Enjoy 2 nights in the magnificently restored 18^th Century Mansion and perhaps partake of some golf, fly-fishing or some site-seeing at local attractions such as Copper Coast UNESCO Geo-Park, the Hook Lighthouse or the Waterford Museum of Treasures.  At night try some local fare or dine on-site in The Roseville Rooms or the Piano Bar & Lounge.  And don’t forget to have afternoon tea!

Day 4 will find you heading west to Killarney, your home base for days 4 & 5 at The Cahernane House Hotel.  Beautifully located on a private estate at the edge of the Killarney National Park, you will be within easy reach of local sites such as the Muckross House and of course, the National Park.  For the more adventurous there is horseback riding or kayaking on the Killarney Lakes. Dining options at the hotel include the Herbert Room, providing a traditional 17^th Century country house dining experience, or the cosy & inviting Cellar Bar offering a bistro menu to go along with their wide range of fine liquors and wines.

For your final night in Ireland, you will head east back for one last night at the Johnstown House Hotel.  As you relax and relive the memories of the previous few days, be sure to visit the hotel’s Pavilion Restaurant, where the chef is constantly sourcing the best local & seasonal products to enchant even the most discerning palate.

Prices are per person based on two people traveling together (unless specified otherwise) based on 7 day advance purchase and include round trip economy class airfare including carrier and government-imposed taxes and fees including the September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per enplanement originating at a U.S. airport.
