Tuscan Cooking Class

Learn the art of traditional Tuscan cooking at Il Borro. For approximately 2 hours you will experience cooking with local ingredients and enjoy your prepared meal in the restaurant. ($99)

The cooking classes are preferably held in the afternoon and they take about two hours. The staff has created an intimate setting to provide the ultimate learning environment and our class sizes reflect this. At the end of the class, the guest have the chance to enjoy the food they cooked in the restaurant with the delightful wines that Il Borro produces. We offer several kinds of menĂ¹ options to suit participants of all cooking levels. All cooking classes are hands-on, use fresh ingredients and sample the olive oil and wine produced directly on the grounds of the Il Borro.

The guests have the chance to learn how to prepare and to cook the wonderful pasta such as taglialette or filled pasta such as ravioli or tortellini, but they also have the opportunity to discover the secrets of the Tuscany tradition such as how to keep the spaghetti from sticking together or how to roast the wonderful Chianina meat. The chef, Roberto Bendinelli, wants the guest to experience the best that living in Tuscany provides.
